Why can't I download a font file?

The available free fonts on FontMagic.com are in compressed zip format. This means that fonts can only be obtained from this web site in zip file. FYI, this was done to conserve bandwidth and to facilitate quicker downloads.

If you are unable to download a zip font file, the following can be the reasons:

• Your Internet connection is now working
• The FontMagic.com web site is "down" or offline. Though this is rare, it happens from time to time during the maintenance of our hosting servers. You can check back after a few minutes.
• The font zip file is no longer available and has been removed from this web site and I would be grateful if you can inform me of the same via the contact page.
• It might also happen (this is especially true in case of new Firefox users) that though the font has been downloaded, it's stored in the download directory specified in the browser settings. I would suggest you read the last section at Downloading fonts from FontMagic.com.
