How do I download fonts at FontMagic.com?

Font on this web site are displayed in two kind of lists - Alphabetical fonts list and the Categorieswise font list (for easy selection and location).

Each list consists of hundreds of pages and each page has a maximum of 20 fonts. The fonts are shown as colorful images like the one below and are available as compressed zip files. To download a font, click (left buttom of the mouse under Windows) on the font name, the font image or the Download Font link.

Typically, a pop-window up will be displayed asking you to Open or Save the zip file. Please refer to the images below which are snapshots of the pop-up windows of the two popular browsers - Internet Explorer and Firefox.

I suggest you Save the file - the Save button in Internet Explorer or the OK button in Firefox (with Save to Disk selected); and once you to that, the download process will start and its progess will be displayed. The time taken for the compressed font file to download will depend on the size of the file (smaller files will download quickly than larger files) and your Internet connection speed.

Internet Explorer users
Once you click on the Save button, you would be asked the directory to which you would want to download the font to. Browse to a location of your choice and start the downloading process.

Firefox users
Firefox will start the downloading process immediately and the file would be saved in a download directory defined in Firefox (which is typically, the Desktop unless you have changed it). If you do not know the location of this directory, you can quickly find that out. Click on Tools (from the top menu bar. Go to Options. A pop-up window will be shown. Click on the Main icon (right at the top). Now you would be displayed the download directory location under Downloads section - refer image below. FYI, you can change this to any directory of your choice.

Another way to download the fonts, is to right-click (click the right mouse button) on the font name, font image or Download Font link and select Save Target As (Internet Explorer) or Save Link As (Firefox). This is a good option for Firefox users as they would then be able to specify directly in the dalog box, the directory to which they want to download the font.
